Bulk Edit Workflows
Bulk edit workflows - You should be able to bulk edit any workflow by package and by subcontractor - even if the workflow has already begun (locked) in case that particular individual leaves the project. Should be applicable for the CM, subcontractors, and A/E's. Currently you can only edit one single workflow at the time.
We currently have the first release that will begin to address bulk editing workflows ready – “Bulk Replace”. This functionality will allow a user to be replaced by another within the Submittals workflows.
For the initial release, these edits can be requested via support and/or your account manager. Please reach out if you need to quickly replace users in a workflow. We fully intend to make this user-facing, but want to make sure it is working as requested.
Please note, this currently only changes names, not dates.
We are not stopping here, but feel this release will have a huge impact on the need to bulk edit workflows.

The fact that you can't bulk edit workflows is ridiculous. With over 300 submittals, we would have to go into Procore and edit each one individually. No one has time to do that. If Procore can replace a workflow user, they should also be able to update and workflows.

Has there been any progress on improving the functionality of bulk editing workflows?

The submittal bulk edit options should mirror exactly what is available in the individual edit.

C'mon Procore... jump into 2020 with both feet.

Hi Procore Developers! Can you please update so that you can add users into the bulk edit for the workflows (not just swap users, but actually add them in/edit what users are already in the workflow)? And add a simple function where you can edit the approver without having to actually click into the Submittal, just when you're simply scrolling through your Submittal list. At this point, Procore seems to be harder to use/mass edit than it is to do so in Excel and is making it so users of Procore are wasting hours on what could be done in five seconds with a developer update.
Appreciate your time reading this and hopefully an update can come out soon as it's been 4 years since the initial post made. Procore is great, and it can only become better with more updates to make it easier than Excel!

i noticed that we can't even Bulk Edit while it's still in DRAFT. I chose a workflow and the submittals were still in Draft mode. I then learned I needed to update the submitter from the subcontractor and I was unable to choose multiple Draft submittals to adjust the workflow. Instead, I had to go into every single submittal and fix it.

I want to add a person from a subcontactor for many submittals and want to know if I can do a bulk edit or have to do it one at a time? Would be nice if this was an option.

Please add the option to bulk remove workflow in order to bulk apply a new workflow with new dates and/or new users.
Yes i vote that we be able to change the template and if the template already is in place on a submittal it auto updates!! please please please this woudl save me so much tedious editing.

We need this yesterday! Just had to manually change 179 entries

I have to agree whole heartedly with Nicholas Kier's comment below. This has been an issue from inception of the "workflow". Procore is supposed to save time. Submittals suck the majority of time from the onset. And now, having to take an entire day or more to edit submital workflows individually one by one, to change a user or add a step or alter the submitters role since there is no bulk edit option is excruciatingly inefficient. Procore really needs to step up its game in this area as submittals are a huge piece of the entire project process.

Need to ability to modify workflows. If you have a 2 year project and someone changes roles you need to manually update every submittal individually. This is very inefficient.

This ability would save a lot of time and efforts in the submittal process.

Is there a reason this feature is taking so long to address? It seem's like this has been a consistent issue since 2016.

Unchecking as a 'Required' step must be done individually now - would like the ability to be done in a bulk edit

It would be great to have an update on the progress related to bulk editing Due date within the workflow? Having the ability to replace a user has been a big help, but teams really need to be able to adjust due dates for a particular step in Workflow sin a Bulk Manner!

When will the "bulk edit" workflow option be available? I see you rolled it out in some areas last year in August. When you're managing over 500 submittals in Procore there should an option to bulk edit the workflow. It's very tedious and time consuming to update the workflow in 1 package individually. I think this should be a no brainer for Procore.
