Subcontractor Daily Log Visible to all members of the same company
We have started to leverage Subcontractor Daily Logs, and our subs would like to see what another user from their company entered into the Daily Construction report for the day. At times, a newer employee will enter the DCR log and the foreman would like to check out what they entered.
Thank you for your feedback! We have shared your post with the development teams. We will update this space if we have any questions or change the status.

They should be able to "collaborate" on their entries, too, not just both submit them.
Vicki Caruso commented
This will streamline communication and simplify coloration among contractors. Immediate action to modify must be taken for development.
Heather Baker commented
Please reconsider this for development. Subcontractors are not able to manage their requirements if they cannot see what their folks are or are not doing in Daily Logs.

This should be prioritized for development and implemented immediately. This is a basic function that is needed to run a job properly.

This really needs to happen. A lot of the time it is a field super or foreman entering the daily for their company and the office personnel from that company needs to have the ability to access and print those reports for their company's records as well.

Currently, when you have Collaborator Entry turned on (particularly on the Daily Construction report), users form the same company cannot see each other's entries. Similar to the granular permissions on Submittals, it would be helpful to have a granular permission option for users to be able to see Daily Log entries from users within their same company.

To ensure that a company is not entering multiple entries for the same work as well as allowing them to view entries that they create, it would be important and vital that this feature be added to the Daily Log tool.

As a GC, adding this feature to the subcontractors' permissions is absolutely necessary. Our more proactive subcontractors want to be sure they have submitted daily logs, manpower entries, and notes for every day. A perfect example is a mechanical subcontractor: you may have a plumbing foreman, a ductwork foreman, and an HVAC pipefitter who all need to submit information daily. The subcontractor's superintendent and project manager cannot audit what has been submitted by their team. As a result, some subcontractors are hesitant to adopt the system (even though we contractually require it) because it feels as if their information is going into a black hole. Please prioritize this for development!

Having the ability to email out Daily Log entries from the mobile app, this way that you can send the entries to the users so they can see the entries that someone else entered on their behalf.

Observations and Punchlist have a granular permission to allow users of the same company to see and/or take action on items - this should be added to daily reports as a granular permission as well.

This really needs to be available, we have multiple foreman working on a project under the same company but they are unable to see each other's daily log reports. Without exporting / emailing the report there is no way to share the log info with members of the same company.

As a PM, I cannot see my superintendents dailies on Procore. My super would have to download the daily as a pdf, save it to his desktop, then upload it to another file sharing/storage site. Seems to defeat the one-stop-shop that Procore is intended for.
Please allow for contacts within the same company to view daily reports.
Seth Cheever commented
This would be very helpful.

Manpower log- Subs can see other entries by same company
Jason Scheffler commented
Granular permissions for the daily log would allow a user/company to only see their entries and their company on the drop down lists. By doing this it will prevent the risk of a user selecting the wrong company and entering in data/information.

It would be great if members of the same company could view Daily Log entry's created by any member of their company.
This way supervisors would be able to review what their subordinates enter.
