Specify/Filter Data to be Extracted
Currently, the Extract feature pulls all data from a given tool. It would be beneficial if the data that is extracted could be specified by the user in order to maximize the efficiency of the Extracts tool (i.e excluding empty days from the Daily Log)
Now that we have just released our new Extracts App, we have begun to look into the filtering of data PRIOR to extracting. We will keep this space updated.
You can read about the new Extracts App here: https://support.procore.com/products/online/user-guide/project-level/admin/tutorials/extract-project-data-using-the-procore-extracts-application

Allow filtering in the extracts tool.
It would be great for turnover of completions if you could do a bulk export of all Submittals an attached that are loaded in Procore without going to each individual one and clicking export, same goes with RFI's

Add "Export PDF with Attachments" in an instant type from instead of having to wait for an email link
WE have to download all of our approved submittals for our closing packages and it is a extremely time consuming to have to click on every single submittal, export with attachments and then wait for a link to be emailed.

Allow for the ability to export multiple records in bulk. This would be primarily for RFIs and Submittals. The idea is to choose the RFIs you want to download as PDF, then select the export button to send a zip file with the individual RFIs as separate PDFs (including attachments). This would be easier than using the Extract feature.

The ability to exclude internal, private items from an Extract on a tool such as RFIs would be beneficial and in the interest of a Procore client looking to provide their extracted project data to an external party.
Currently, a team member has to manually remove these potentially compromising items from the extracted folder which could take a notable amount of time.

Add the capability to do a bulk download for submittals
Chris Brocco commented
Agree this is a pain point. At the end of the project we include the RFI's in the closeout package. As of now, at the end of the project, we have to go into each RFI, Export to PDF, then download each attachment and combine the PDF. Very time consuming with dozens of RFI's. A bulk download that could be set to include attachments would be a major improvement.

Extract Submittals by Type for closeout purposes...
There needs to be a way to extract by submittal type so all O&M's, for example, can be extracted for a Closeout Deliverable to the Owner.

I agree. Being able to bulk download submittals would be huge. Most clients request to have a copy of submittals. If you are not consistently downloading when received, downloading at the end of the project is very time consuming. Being able to bulk download would save a huge amount of time.

Is there any update on this? LIkely to implement two years ago (2017). This is really a huge need for our teams. At the end of the project we must provide all RFIs and Submittals in our closeout package to the owner, the current summary exports do not provide what we need and the only way to currently do this is to click hundreds, possibly thousands, of times on each record - not acceptable. There needs to be a report that has the individual export including the question, responses, and attachments associated with the RFI.

I hope this gets implemented soon!

Bulk download RFI's
Karen Gohlsen commented
This was marked "likely to implement" back in 2017. How long is it going to take to be able to do that. If it were up to us, we wouldn't be printing hard copies, but we have many clients who have that preference and so have no choice. The fact that there is no way to bulk download means we have to print each page individually. The time difference between the two activities is huge.
Allison Townes commented
Agreed, it would be a huge time saver to have bulk download options for submittals and RFIs. The bulk download should include an "include attachments" option.

Downloading Submittals in a package all at once.

Needing to find a way to export all the latest drawing revisions from a submittal package. Right now this is not possible. It would be very helpful in looking at all the drawings that are associated with a given submittal package.
Matt Limpert commented
the projects submittals need to be uploaded to the spec book format.
Currently the submittal tool only allows a user to extract the full submittal and not only the approved submittals which are what contractors share with the owner at the end of the project.
Creating a tool that would extract only approved submittals into one file in order by cost code would allow the GC to provide the owner a full "SPEC" book with the materials that were actually integrated in the project based on revisions. it is true that not all items orginally specd are included in the project because through time, design, approvals, new ideas, and approvals the buildings products change but cannot be currently logged.

It would be helpful if we could do a download of only the Approved Submittals
