Add Ability to Request Read Receipts on Emails
When sending e-mail, the ability to request a read receipt and add high priority to the email would be fantastic!
Thank you for your feedback! We have shared your post with the development teams. We will update this space if we have any questions or change the status.

Procore needs a tracking systems that allows us to track who has received and viewed notification like published drawings and submittals. This would help us eliminate the hassle dealing with subs who claim they have not see a drawing or a submittal.

Under the tendering tool, specifically correspondence it would be great to be able to see who looks at the correspondence.

Heck I'd even take a receipt upon delivery. Too many subs not receiving the information and it's next to impossible to track. SHOULD BE MOVED TO A HIGHER PRIORITY!!!

seems to have been causing issues on jobs where changes are made through drawings, distributed through procore, and vendors are not viewing updates. Becoming to difficult to do double the work and remind them after distributing to them through procore. Read receipt would be awesome.

There needs to be read receipts on emails, both within the email tool AND within other tools. For example: if Procore workflow follows a submittal from sub to architect and back to sub, then it needs to verify for the contractor that the sub received the final, distributed submittal. Read Receipt would be how it was done in outlook.
MailChimp has the ability to tell me exactly who, where, and when an email I sent was opened. Should not be too hard to add it to Procore.

State laws require that all addenda have two forms of verification of receipt, the first being proof of receipt (previously a fax or certified mail) and a notice on bid day that they received the addenda. Using procore notices on our other projects as being sufficient, but if they have no visibility into whether the addenda was received (or not) it doesn't satisfy the state bidding requirements.

When sending out correspondence for a bid package, it would be great to see confirmation that someone opened the correspondence similar to how we can tell if they downloaded the drawings.

This would help our company keep track of who's received our emails and who doesn't bother looking at them

Please provide a read receipt function for emails / transmittals, etc. We've recently had a situation where a couple of subcontractors claimed they didn't receive a transmittal.
'Opened' receipts for folders sent in Bid Package invitations.
As we adopt ProCore, our accountant is concerned that in sending Bid Packages through the ProCore system, we cannot confirm that the recipient opened all of the documents (or at least folders) contained in the Bid Package.
This opens us up to vulnerability when a contractor claims that they only received part of the Bid Package (for example: received the Scope of Work and were able to bid effectively, but later violate the General Procedures, which is in a different folder).
A download log of individual folders would be the equivalent of our old system, where UPS required a signature upon delivery of all materials when mailing Bid Packages.
Read receipt for on all email notifications from Procore (Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, Instructions, Variations, Emails).
We need to be able to receive "Read Receipts" for when emailing through Procore. Not only is it a standard form of electronic data sharing (confirming receipt of documents) but it is also part of most contracts/subcontracts now a days. AIA Document E203™–-2013, Building Information Modeling and Digital Data Exhibit.
We are required by contract to inform our subcontractors and suppliers that we will be using Procore for transmission of contract information, which also must require "Read Receipt" capability for protections to both parties.
With all you've done with this software, it seems that "Read Receipts" for your email could easily be done.

There should be a way to check if a recipient has opened or read an email sent from a tool in Procore, be it from the Submittals tool, RFI tool, or Email tool, ect.

Add ability to track when recipients download information

When utilizing the tools within Procore and sending out emails within the tools (i.e. drawings, rfi's, submittals, etc...) it would be very beneficial and assist in legal matters if we had some verification or read receipt received when emails are sent out. Right now we have no confirmation the recipient has received the email and this could be a major issue.

Client would like to be able to have some sort of confirmation that a site instruction was successfully delivered. Currently when a site instruction is created and sent, there is not a way to tell if it was delivered for sure without having support verify this.
