Create and Manage Addendums
Allow the creation of an addendum and ability to save it without sending it !
Also easier management when adding new bidders to receive bid docs and any previously issued Addendums/Cooresponce
Please add an addendum option to the tendering tools.

There needs to be a way for correspondence to be added or included with the bid package. So that subs can download the bidding files and get all the correspondence to date.

Even better, don't force the package to be downloaded as a zip file, many contractors are tending to use only mobile devices on the go, and some again not tech savvy to open the zip packages on their devices.
If some do manage to open the zip, they are often stuck due to not being able to navigate the folders depending on their device set up. There needs to be some flexibility in how package files are sent out.
On email communications, can the
"Download Package" link be larger and reworded to say something like "Download Full Bid Package" or similiar.
Many subcontractors are not very tech savey and overlook the orginal ITBs. They are then uncertain how to download the full bid package when notified about an Addendum Update.

We have sent few correspondences to few subbies. When add a new subbie there is no option to forward previous correspondences. Have to send as a new correspondence. It's a main negative issue. Please fix this issue.
Have the correspondence format identical to the bid format that shows the tab view and resend beside the vendors. When you add additional vendors to a bid invite, you must also go in and send the correspondence, but it brings up the whole bidders list. Would be nice to bring up the new vendor added

This is a good idea however they should only receive correspondence sent to the particular subcontractor being re-invited. I quite often sen individualized correspondence. I wouldn't want the correspondence for x being subsequently forwarded to y.

Create an addendum/amendment tool for Bidding and the Planroom. it would be nice if bidders could download amendments to the bid documents without re-downloading the many documents that did not change.
1. Allow users downloading from the Planroom to download individual amendments as well as, the complete current package.
2. Automatically send updates (with just the replacement documents) to bidders who have not declined when a change to the bid documents is published.
3. create a publish and distribute changes similar to the new drawings tool setup.

Just one of many bidding issues that need work.

When adding documents to your bid package file have it where you can update all of your bid packages with the new information instead of going into each individual bid set and updating the information.

TOTALLY agree. I thought they did until recently. Makes no sense. My work around is keeping an unlocked bidding folder in the documents that is attached to the package and making sure it is up to date before inviting /reinviting.

Happy New Year!
I know that this idea has been brought up before.
When will we be able to forward correspondence already sent within the bidding tool?
Ryan Watterson commented
Please add an amendment feature to the Planroom. It would be very helpful if you could download amendments to bid packages individually from the original bid package. and be able to tell if there are changes by looking at the Planroom.
Automate correspondence creation and send out to recipients for bid packages upon clicking update for new files or newer versions that have been uploaded to the bid documents folder in the documents tool.

When using the correspondence in a bid package, it would be great when we add bidders at a later time, if we could forward the same correspondence to the other bidders that were added after the fact.

It would be nice if you could simply forward previous bid correspondence with the click of a button and then add new subs rather than creating a new correspondence and having to reattach the documents.
In the bidding tab, have a better way to issue addenda rather than the correspondence function. When you add another bidder after you have issued an addendum, you have to be sure to go back and send them an individual correspondence with the addendum or other communication. It would be better to have a running tally of all documents so when you add someone, they get all documents that have been issued.

We quite often get requests to reinvite bidders (because they've lost their invitation or whatever). It would be EXTREMELEY helpful if when we reinivited them, they also got any Correspondence (formerly referred to as an Addendum) at the same time, instead of having to reinvite them, and then resend each separate Correspondence to them again. Thank you.
