We wanted to let you all know that you can now test out Submittal Markup in your company’s ‘Sandbox’ test project. Here is a demo video of the functionality to give you a brief overview (https://www.loom.com/share/25f2c3553b364e5cbba37b72bd866d44)
You can send us feedback within the markup viewer using the ‘Provide Feedback’ button in the viewer (see attached screenshot).
If you have projects that you would like to get set up to start utilizing this feature, please reach out to email@example.com or your Customer Success Manager.
We will be covering Submittal Markup in a Procore Webinar on Wed. May 13, 2020, 10AM PST. Follow this link to register!
Thank you and we look forward to hearing your feedback!

is there any timeline for when this feature will be back online? Thank you

submittal markup similar to drawings where the markup can be published and each reviewer can start working on a live document no matter how far down the workflow they are.

Congratulations, Procore. You failed to listen to everyone asking for markups to Specifications.

We need this for subcontracts and change orders also, DocuSign is incredibly expensive considering the number of employees and the volume of documents we send.

The tool is a great start and I love how easy the custom stamps tool is. I can't seem to see the mark-ups from the mobile app or how to "attach" the marked-up document in the workflow approval step. Also I agree that some sort of file history is needed.

The new tool looks great and it will become a great time saver. A couple of suggestions:
- the ability to append a PDF to the submittal, for example, an additional sketch. It is tru that this could be uploaded directly to the submittal, but it would then be a separate file, which means we lose the "single document source" for all edits
- the ability to add a page is great, but just in case we make a mistake, how about the ability to delete a page as well?
- Is there an audit trail of who edited what? Permissions? how do we manage that?

The new markup tool looks great, it has all the normal functionality I would expect. I like the breakout attachments as well. I have two suggestions. First of all providing a simple way of adding the procore export cover page to the attachment (aka transmittal) would be of huge benefit, and also adding the ability to rename the file.

Looks great, but I think it needs file history for the revisions made. At least for admin levels to go back through.

Already looks much better. Will keep playing with it. Looking forward to this hitting real projects.

There has been some great progress on this feature within the submittals tool, which is awesome. However, I'm curious if we can get an update on the plan to have markup functionality within the specs tool, similar to the drawings. A lot of the comments & votes have been around adding markup tools (text, shapes, highlight, etc.) to the specifications PDF viewer and we're curious how the progress made in submittals affects that tool.

There seems to be more comments here pertaining to specifications, when's this coming for specs?

it would be great if the Spec section was an editable field you could add more detail into

Submittal mark-ups. It would be a great thing if when I open up the contractors submittals that I could mark them up and save them back into procore submittal.
