    Add a map view for companies in the Directory. This would be similar to the map view of projects in the Portfolio and allow you to see the geographic location of the vendors in your Directory.

    "Bidders" or Companies should have the ability to edit general company information and default contacts for bidding, billing, etc. The "Global Directory" needs to have the capabilities to merge with current companies in GCs/Owners directories.

    I am interested in bidding out our projects to as many contractors that are interested or needing or looking for work, that are in or not in our directory in Procore. Before there was Procore there was and still is The San Luis Obispo Builders Exchange, Santa Barbara/Ventura Exchange, and Bakersfield exchange etc. it was a great resource for new, old, and sometimes bad sub-contractors looking for work. We do not know everybody in the contracting business and a lot do not know of us.

    @Procore, can you elaborate on how you'll handle data quality and accepting suggested edits by either the subcontractor or GCs? Would be interesting to see if you're going to crowd source information for companies such as applicable trades, contact info, etc similar to how Google Maps manages location info.

    Related to the suggestion for a global directory it would be great to include a self service approach for data management and validation similar to google maps' allows people to suggest edits to locations. There would be a validation process that could route that company's designated POC for acceptance or if enough people make the suggestion to automatically accept it but flag for optional confirmation by the business owner.

    Ideally this concept would expand down to the individual end user where they would be prompted to complete their profile (mobile number, title, etc) and then have it validated by a directory admin level user.

    For Bid Packages allow the Bid Package to be emailed to someone that is not currently on the Procore Directory for that project. If you are bidding out scope, those people might not be in your Procore Directory yet. Allow distribution via email address only.

    There should be "Subcontractor - Estimator" and "Subcontractor - Administrative or Management" options for each person added to a job, and the system should default to sending BID invites to the "ESTIMATOR" status only.
    This would be so helpful when filling the directory because with fewer clicks and more ease we could invite just the Estimators to bid work.

    It would be nice to have a pluggin to put on our company website that links to ProCore so Trade Partners can enter their contact and company information right into Procore.

    Users should have the ability to change their invoicing and bidding contacts. This way we are not sending invoices to estimating or bid invites to accounting and so on and so on.

    It would be nice to invite contact to complete information, such as Bidder info, trades and company contacts. Almost like a qualification. They are invited and must complete certain fields and can see the selections we want them to see (i.e. trades)

    In the bidding toolbox once a bid package is created . Is there a way to be able to send the bid request to an email address instead of only through vendors in procore

    Absolutely, why clutter up the Directory when 2 out of 3 bidders may never be selected?
    Perhaps build an "+ Add Bidder" module instead of taking us back through the Directory... I'd still like an easier way to go back and remove bidders I may never use when I simply needed 3 quotes...

    Creating a separate directory that only the estimating team could pull potential subs from would be very beneficial. The current process of uploading to the company level directory is to time consuming. Simplify the process and more users would leverage the bidding tool. There are to many clicks.

    Client would like to auto-send bid invitation emails to all users listed underneath that company, instead of having to select a user to receive the invitations

    We would like to access the directory data base remotely. When we used Smartbid we had all of our contacts at our finger tips and could share data with other company members. Procore does not have an option like this, we can only access the directory of companies we have access to

    Each subcontractor in our directory should have the capabilities to edit their own company information. When they would edit it, we would get an email notifying us of it.
    Pipeline Suite has this feature and is very helpful

    Currently we can only see Office and Project locations on the map. We need to be able to add subcontractor lists from our directory.

    Procore has all of the information required to centralize a directory. So when I start to type in a company it shows up and that company can be in charge of maintaining their primary bidders and PMs without the GC having to constantly updated 4,000 + contacts.
