How can we improve Procore?

Create a user facing product/feature roadmap on Uservoice!

The Uservoice platform supports an internal AND external roadmap feature. If Procore wants to join the big guns like Microsoft and Autodesk then how about letting us know what you're working on so we, the end users, can plan accordingly? While some suggestions/ideas are minor (e.g. allow custom required fields) others may require changes in workflow or new corporate policies. As a potential enterprise customer I think Procore owes it to the ENR100 type contractors as well as everyone else to show us where your priorities are.

    I appreciate your position on this matter Dave Brown I too have been critical about Procore’s lack of transparency with their development efforts and during system outages. I believe that this user feedback forum started off as a great idea but with over 11,000 suggestions; it might be too big, to be beneficial at this point. That and with a diverse clientele, I fear that your feature roadmap request might be a tough ask.

    With that said, when we identify issues or pitfalls inside of the platform, I immediately contact our CSM or one of the Strategic Product Consultants directly. They have never hesitated to reach out to an engineer or developer to arrange a phone call for me to address our concern’s directly with the people in charge of building the toolset. Based off some of these suggestions, we’ve seen game changing improvements to the platform. Have you attempted to address your company’s needs directly with the Procore staff?

    I think that you might be surprised how receptive they are when their consumers drive product development.

    I stand corrected... I guess uservoice doesn't support a public roadmap:

    That being said, perhaps Procore can update this page ( with started and upcoming features and related ideas for the next 12 months along with their related ideas/suggestions.

    Showing that they have a plan would be a start. It often feels like there's no progress on anything other than the next flashy bullet point on their sales brochure. When are we going to see updates on the current tools and processes? If there was a roadmap, it would help keep the Procore team accountable.

    Case in point - we've been waiting for almost 6 years to rotate drawings.


    Is this just not ever going to have attention? Is there any sort of ETA? Or will it just continue to be put off while the next shiny bell or whistle is developed for sales? Having a roadmap would help!

    To clarify, really what we're looking for is a live view into your priorities within a given tool at a summary level rather than progress updates on each individual idea. I think in the absence of a summary level roadmap (like in the Microsoft and Autodesk examples) everyone wants a status update on every idea.

    Couldn't agree more - its very frustrating when you submit an idea and it sits in "thinking about" mode for months/years. Procore needs to make it that if enough people request a change then the change gets implemented ASAP. I haven't seen a worthy fix/update/release in months.
