Custom budget reports shouldn't require admin permissions on the COMPANY level admin tool
Custom Company level budget reports that are created to be on all projects aren't accessible to project level admins. Only users with admin permissions on the admin tool at the company level can view these reports. This isn't helpful. Giving project admins that kind of access is a risk, and if they are admins on the report and budget tool - these reports should be accessible.
Thanks for the feedback! Our team will review your suggestion and I will update this ticket if we proceed.

This needs to get changed as soon as possible. When a management team asks to see these reports on a regular basis and you can't produce it for them, it is very embarrassing. There is not reason to give them admin access at the company level to see this information, nor do they want it.

I'm trying to create a dashboard for our management team and they are not able to view the reports I created based off of the Budgets tool. These users should not have admin access to the Budgets tool at the company level however they should be able to see budget data for specific projects. Is there an ETA on when this issue is going to be fixed?

Yes - this is very frustrating. We have a standard report that we now need to grant all project managers Admin permissions for the Company Level Admin tool to be able to generate it on their projects. We have 200+ project leaders and project controls specialists that need these permissions and without a way currently to mass change Company level permissions by template this is going to be a tedious task - AND introduce risk to the management of Company Level Admin configurations. Fix soon!

We used this type of report for all jobs starting in May 2018 until Procore changed the permissions. Now our project managers (project admins) can't access it. It's very frustrating. We had built a monthly financial report around this, definitely thrown a kink in our financial reporting. Please expedite.

The problem we are having is this:
You have to be an admin user on the budget tool in order to view any custom reports for the budget tool.
We have integrated our financials with JD Edwards, so we want to pull back rights for our staff to not be able to unlock the budget so that Original Budgets remain locked, unless there is a valid reason to unlock them.
Problem now is, that we have reports that we have created for the budget tool to track budget modifications, but without admin rights, a person cannot see them.
What there needs to be is a way to allow a user with Standard rights to use those custom reports. Or have the budget unlock feature only usable by a company level admin.

Is there a way to completely block the budget but allow for full company directory access?

Currently, a user needs Admin permissions to the Project Reports tool and Admin permissions to the Budget in order to view a Custom Budget Report that was shared to the project.
"Having to modify permissions on all of our internal users to have Admin access on the budget tool is not something we want to or should have to do. We feel it opens up the project to allow too many users to make high level modifications to the budget. This is why the granular permissions on this tool are so nice. If we could have some sort of granular permission to allow reporting or make reporting allowable to standard level users. They can already view and process all of the budget information, I don’t understand why reporting is only available to admin level users on this tool – that doesn’t make much business process sense to us."
