Vendor Notes/Comments Visible in Bidding Tool
It would be helpful to have the ability to view the notes/comments for each vendor when in the bidding tool to know whether or not we would like to send them a bid invitation. We often put the locations they service or if they are currently not taking on any more work so that we know whether or not to send them an invitation.
Thank you for your feedback! We have shared your post with the development teams. We will update this space if we have any questions or change the status.

having a bidding information tab in the directory is all well and good, except that much of the information is not visible when in the bidding tab and actually determining which companies to add to the invitation list. much of what i use to determine who to invite is not included in your standard checklist. I typically do not have time to open each invitee's contact page to view the bidding information before i need to send it out since we are typically on such tight timelines with bids as it is. I need to be able to see the list of previous projects invited to and the comments section of the bidding tab to be able to make informed decisions and not call the same providers over and over only to be told the same thing over and over "project too big for us" or " we are not providing new bids till fall because we're too busy" etc.

When Selecting your Bidders you're able to see a quick preview of Trades listed and it'd be ideal if you could also see a quick preview of Rating given to that sub.
Once selected in the Bid Package View, the option to activate and review Companies Bid Comments/Notes would be ideal for final review before continuing on with Invites or removing any unwanted companies for that package.

I would like to the bidders to have an ability to comment why they decided not to bid a project.

allow for comments inputted in the bidder info section of subcontractors to appear when creating a bid list.
Be great to see if a bidder does not work within a certain area or work with a company that that appear when setting up a bid packet,
Where I work, there is a difference between working in NJ, NY, and Long Island. There are companies that work in all three, other will not work in the city, other wont work in NJ, and so on and so forth and that is something that we track in the comment section of the companies bidder info.
If I would see that information when setting up a bid list that would be awesome. save me time calling and chasing companies that don't change their status to 'not bidding'

The new update to the Search for Bidders in the bidding tool has many issues.
1. Comments are no longer viewable. I put comments in to the Bidder Info tab so that when I search for bidders I can read the comments and decide if the job is right for that subcontractor. The new update does not show the comments so it takes me longer to add bidders.
2. When searching for bidders before the update, I chose subs based on: A. If they have bid to us before and B. If they are on a job. The update to the bidding tool eliminated the option of showing if they are on a job or not which makes the selection process more difficult.
