Open office open and save back Office 365 documents on iOS in native app
Users can currently open office 365 documents (excel, word) stored in Procore within the native iOS apps. They cannot save the file back to Procore without first saving the file to local or onedrive and then reuploading. This is cumbersome and the extra steps prevent adoption and regular use of the documents tool.
Impacted business process:
Editing and saving O365 documents stored within Procore on their iOS devices.
Frequency intended use:
Multiple times a day
Work with Microsoft to have Procore as an available document management tool to save to from the native iOS apps. Attached is a screen grab from within Excel on iOS for available document storage services that support this functionality.

This should go beyond the iOS application and allow for true integration between Procore and Office 365 for direct document editing. Office 365 Documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, others) which are stored in Procore should be directly editable by clicking on them in the web browser, which will then open the document in a web-editing mode.
This feature is currently available on competing platforms (Bim3360 Docs and Aconex).
