Directory Filter option: No Permission Template Assigned
Directory filer for "No Permission Template Assigned"
Happy to announce we will soon be releasing a User Permissions view shortly that lists each user, their default project template, and their company template (also Coming Soon).
This will provide an overview of permission templates and will also be filterable and sortable.

This view will be great! Much better than the reverse sort I'm doing now to find them.
However, this view will still be mostly useless without a Bulk Edit function for users. I want to select the 20 or 100 subs that ended up without a permission template and change them all at once.

Sometimes users enter new contacts and forget to add a template to the entry. Then no one knows why the user can't see anything when they log in.

To expand on this, there is the ability to add a filter for the Permission Template (Assigned) field, but in the drop-down there is no option to select only users who have no template assigned. This should be a simple "no value" or "null" lookup on the backend.

We cannot currently filter users that do not have a default template set up for them, every template is available in the filter but not "none". When adding a new user at the project level it only applies the template we give them at the project level, it does not carry on to the default. Since the idea "Set Default Permissions from Project Level Directory" was not prioritized for implementation I find this to be a good compromise.

Sometimes users enter new contacts and forget to add a template to the entry. Then no one knows why the user can't see anything when they log in. Then I get calls from the PM asking for help, I have to do recon, and find out that they don't actually permission to see or do anything because one of our staff didn't create the contact correctly - not that hard to do actually, because assigning a permission template isn't REQUIRED.
Out of the 1000+ contacts in our directory, there are, I'm betting, 200 contacts that don't have an assigned permission template - BUT I can't create a listing of the names that don't have permissions assigned. I can filter the directory by permission template, but there isn't an "unassigned" option in the list.
Can there be, please??

Add filter option for Default Permission Template to be "none". This would help narrow down any contacts that have not had a permission template assigned.
