Equipment Tracking Between Projects - Master Equipment List
It would be great if there was a way to build a master list for equipment tracking between projects. For example, if we have a bobcat on one project and we move it to another project, everyone in our company could see that. If that bobcat is not in use on any project, then we could see that it's back in the master equipment list as available. This could be used to manage maintenance reminders for the equipment and insurance renewal reminders.
This is a very difficult time consuming thing for construction companies. It could range from machinery to even tools.

I agree with this. And if obviously we could import an equipment list from excel/csv :)

It would be great for a tool to be present that lists only subcontractors. It is possible to create a separate project for these subs in the Directory and use that for reference, but to have a tool on each project that only shows Subs that could then be used on the bidding tool would be efficient and faster than taking from the directory tool.

This would very useful addition to the product.
Would save a lot of time doing data input

Not sure if this exists or not (new user here): It would be very helpful and efficient to be able to use a list of equipment (used on the Daily Log - Equipment) to resource load a Schedule so that we don't have to recreate an equipment list again. Also, it would be extremely helpful to be able to copy/transfer that same equipment list to another project (and edit it as needed), or be able to create a standard equipment list at the company level.

It would be an extremely helpful tool to have the Master tool list on Procore which would allow for transfers directly into a project, once transferred it would note the new location as well as log the tool on the projects daily reports for tracking and rental needs to the project.

We came up with a simple solution and you are almost there. We created a Form as the log you have created, which stays on our catch all, Main project. This form is to standardize the nomenclature for the equipment and also keep track of the particulars. We created different types so that the next step is not so complicated. We then used Locations as types; one tier down is the id and the next tier describes the equipment only. Using the second tier, we created QR codes for each and placed them on the equipment. With photos, you have a nice visual of the equipment (make a Equipment album as well). Here is the tracking...use Observations. By scanning the code, it will bring you to all the info/life of the equipment and there you can create a templated Observation for that equipment. You can filter Observations by type and know where all the equipment is currently. We also created a Report for the warehouse manager to receive every day. So this was our answer to this issue. Deliveries and Equipment Daily log would keep track of the usage at each particular project.

I agree with many of the sentiments. If we are truly 'going digital' with PROCORE - we need tools such as to be implemented in some form.

Agreed this has the potential to be a big selling point for Contractors and Sub contractors to be able to easily track there tools and equipment across all projects. If you could build out a "master" company equipment list and be able to pull off of that list like it said in the initial idea that would be a huge benefit for our company.

This would be of great value to us for tracking equipment installed at job sites, including serial numbers. Currently we have a very cumbersome way of tracking equipment for operating manuals and warranty repairs at all our job sites.

Can we have the Equipment Tool avaliable on the Mobile Apps at company level?

I agree! This would be extremely helpful!!!

This would be really useful. Procore please add this. Looking for outside solutions as we need this!

Procore should have the ability to manage a default, company level equipment list, uploadable from a csv file.

Being able to search for a tool (even to get so specific as to include serial numbers would be incredible!) and know where that specific tool is within Procore is exactly the function I am looking for.

Tool Inventory List -
It would be useful to have a tool to track Tool/Equipment Inventory at the company level. Something to list all tools, and check them out to specific people & Jobs. This way one could track the location of tools. It would be great to have the ability to print QR code stickers (like the location tool) and stick them to the tools for scanning them in/out of inventory and assigning them to jobs.

This feature needs work! Construction equipment requires a robust tracking system which is not only simple to use but captures pertinent information that allows companies to make better-informed business decisions.
Please enhance this tool with the following options:
1) Capability to import CSV file
2) Capability to select specific and or ALL items at once to delete entries
3) Additional fields to track pertinent information e.g., arrival & departure date on-site, costs, due dates, etc.
This feature lack sufficient information for project teams preventing thorough management of equipment inventory.
