    All,

Thank you very much for providing this feedback to us. We understand that the recent change is causing some confusion and frustration with your teams and we want address those concerns as quickly as possible. The intention of this change was to bring the attachments front and center for easy access and to make it clear what the most up-to-date attachment is, whether it’s the most recently uploaded or the most recently marked-up/stamped attachment. Clearly we have not fully accomplished this and have missed the mark in providing additional context that you need (previous responses, comments, etc.).

Our team is actively exploring potential changes to make this experience better and we’d love to find time with you to make sure we’re taking steps in the right direction.

Please reach out to me if you’d like to sit down with our team to discuss how we should proceed forward and…

To clarify, I would like to be able to add a screen shot of the issue I am having to the message that I am sending.
Your "report an issue" section does not seem to allow that.

Discipline sorting seemed to be missing on iOS during the time that we had only the alphabet slide bar on the drawings screen.
I may have posted my original comment under the wrong comment.
I was referring to page number sorting being handled differently from platform to platform.
See attached wonky page sort order from ipad that places page S1.2 in front of page S1.02 and 1.3 in front of 1.03.
They are shown in correct order on web and wrong on ipad.
I have not looked at android app in a while, but i have had occurances where i had 3 different sort orders of pages.
    This happens quite often.

    Ben Lavy commented  ·

Sort drawings the same on web and procore ios. the way page numbers are handled on web vs ios are different. this can cause a lot of confusion.

The user doesn't know whether or not it is vector PDF. Many users don't know what a vector PDF is.
The search box is there, so the user thinks it will help them. They waste time trying, then they're frustrated.

The next 4 newly added projects in our procore I just looked at have addresses that DO NOT resolve in this map window info screen on iOS dash board, making this very important part of our dashboard nearly useless.
It's not that some of them are working and some not. That is 6 or 7 projects in a row that do not work.
PLEASE quite trying to add new features, and focus on the core features that don't work.

    Ben Lavy commented  ·

Another address fail on the very next project.
Does anyone else have this issue?

I constantly have to download all the drawings from the GC's procore to add them to our procore.
I prefer to download one discipline at a time.
So then i end up with a dozen emails with download links that are random characters. I cannot tell what is what.
It seems crazy to me that the file names i receive in email are all random characters.
Can't it at least include the discipline name?
preferably, Project title, discipline, set name.
-Come to think of it, why do i have to go thru all these steps to take info from one procore to another?
There has got to be an easier way to transfer procore to procore.

    Ben Lavy commented  ·

Constantly frustrated that the file names are random jibberish when the email download link comes.
why can't it read the discipline name and set same?

Please allow me an easier way to copy all the drawings, RFI's, submittals from the GC's procore to our procore. we are a concrete subcontractor and need to maintain our own procore. I waste a ton of time downloading, saving, renaming, then re-uploading drawings and re-building RFI's. very tedious.

Many RFI attachments are Drawings that our crews need to access and view like a drawing.
The current viewer is miserable to use.
Please allow zoom in and out like the drawings section.
    Treat them more like drawings.
We have nearly stopped using the RFI's section all together on some projects.
I just upload them to drawings section so we can actually use them.

Many times user has to click on their company name twice.
seems like there is always one of the steps that requires a repeat click.
It's been like this for a couple years.
    different web browsers, different computers.

    Ben Lavy commented  ·

why do i have to click login twice to get into procore web?

RFI attachment viewing should be like drawings view so you can zoom and markup and actually use the attachments.

    Ben Lavy commented  ·

RFI responses often include a PDF attachment.
On thte web app, these PDFs are opened in a web viewer that is not as easy to use as the drawings area of Procore.
Please add the option to open this PDF in external viewer like Bluebeam.
We need to be able to zoom in and out with wheel mouse, make markups, and quickly attach it back to a message to ask further questions.

RFI responses often do not answer the question the first time, and I need to respond to get further clarification.
right now it takes too many steps to make marks on their attached PDF response and get it back to them.

submittal attachments should open in a more user friendly viewer. Similar to what is used for drawings.

In web interface, PDF attachments in RFI's should handle more like drawings do in the drawings area.
Zooming and panning is different and tedious.
some projects have a ton of RFI responses that we need to use just like drawings.
Also, when pdf's are opened from submittals area, they are different yet.
-This is also an issue on ipad. we need the pdf attachments to be easier to view and mark up and manipulate. and make it the SAME accross platforms.
